Day 3: Lake George - Kings Landing - Cap-Pele (260km)

This morning the kids fed the ducks on Lake George and enjoy the warm morning sun, reflected by the lake.

Then we have a short drive to the Kings Landing heritage village, only 10km from the lake.

The village consists of 70 refurbished historic buildings completely equipped as in the 19th century.

E ach building can be visited and guides in historic costumes either explain how living was back then or play a role as a local citizen of the time.

The kids try out the old beds to learn how hard and uncomfortable they are.

We take lunch in the historic Kings Head Restaurant.

A delicious meal in a historic setting followed by an icecream.

Josh and Jeremia enjoy the fresh water of the lake.

Jonah tries out the historic dress of the kids at the time.

The farms on the site are fully in use, here a horse drives the saw:

We have stayed almost the whole day in the heritage village and now continue towards Halifax, but only for a short distance of 200km to stay on a campground at the beach front, Cap-Pele. The kids take their first bath in the Atlantic on canadian shores.
