The day starts sunny and we drive along the coast towards Halifax. 26km before the city, we stay on a KOA campground on the shores of a lake.
In my memories, KOA was always a guarantee for quality camping, unfortunately I was wrong (or things have simply changed a lot since the 1980th). The playground is in bad shape, the jumping pillow deflated and apparently camp kitchen are not usual in Canada at all.
On top of all, the weather is turning really bad. A heavy thunderstorm which, this time, seems to stay for the whole afternoon.
The kids enjoy their Nintendos.

The weather clears up...but then it rains again.
